Pups are changing so much this week.

Eyes are opening. Wobbly walking began on Sunday. Pups are noticing each other more and beginning to mouth each other in nursing play (can I nurse on this ear? how about on this tail? maybe on this foot?). Some pups are even starting to play with me by batting my hand with their paws and mouthing playfully while they are lying upside down.

Some pup eyes began opening on Saturday. Most pups had partially open eyes on Sunday & eyes are opening wider on Monday. Even though the eyes are opening, the pups cannot yet see in detail. They can tell light from dark, but it will take a bit longer before their brains are developed enough to focus and see details of the world around them.
